Heathrow £245, Gatwick £265, up to 6 bags — fixed.
Your bags go door to terminal by van while you travel however suits you — train, coach, car. Southampton Airport from £12 a bag. London airports at one fixed price, no meter, no VAT. Luggage only — nobody travels in the van.
You travel light. The bags go by van.
It's the same idea as the cruise runs: your luggage and you go separately, and meet at the terminal.
Flying out
I collect your bags from your door at a time we've agreed and drive them to your terminal. You travel however you like. We meet at the departures drop-off at a time fixed by WhatsApp, I hand your bags over, and you check them in.
Coming home
Land, clear arrivals and wheel your bags out to the kerb. Hand them to me, then get on the train or coach carrying nothing heavier than a rucksack. Your bags are at your front door — with a photo on your phone — before you are.
Landing for a cruise
Flying into Heathrow or Gatwick for a Southampton sailing? Your bags go from the arrivals kerb straight to your cruise terminal's luggage drop, same fixed price. You follow on by train, or stay a night in the city first.
Count the bags locally. One price to London.
Within 15 miles it's per bag. Further out I price the journey, and the London airports are one fixed number. A large box or awkward item counts as a bag.
| Airport | Price, door to terminal |
|---|---|
| Southampton Airport | £12 a bag, £30 minimum, from anywhere within 15 miles. Further out: £25 callout + £1.90 a mile, £35 minimum. |
| London Heathrow | £245 fixed, up to 6 bags. +£5 a bag after that. |
| London Gatwick | £265 fixed, up to 6 bags. +£5 a bag after that. |
| Bournemouth Airport | Priced by the journey: £25 callout + £1.90 a mile. Around £75 from the city centre. |
| Waiting time | First 15 minutes free, then £10 per 15 minutes. I'll say so up front, never spring it. |
Postcode, airport, bags.
One number. Request it, or send it straight to my WhatsApp — I confirm before anything is booked.
Before you fly.
Can I come in the van with my bags?
No — I carry luggage only, never people. You travel by train, coach, car or taxi and your bags meet you at the terminal. That's what keeps a London run at one fixed price and properly insured.
How do we meet at the airport?
We fix a time and a spot on WhatsApp the day before — the departures drop-off if you're flying out, the arrivals kerb if you're coming home. I message you when I'm parked up and send a photo of the bags at handover.
What if my flight is delayed?
Message me as soon as you know. Coming home, I plan around the live arrival time. The first 15 minutes of waiting are free, then it's £10 per 15 minutes. If a delay means I can't make the new time, I'll say so straight away rather than leave you guessing.
Are my bags insured while they're with you?
Yes — goods in transit cover up to £25,000 and £5 million public liability, with Somerset Bridge Insurance and Novus Insurance. Every bag is photographed at your door and at the terminal.
Which airports?
Southampton, Heathrow, Gatwick and Bournemouth are in the price tool. Stansted, Luton, Bristol — WhatsApp me and I'll price it as a journey.
Is my collection confirmed as soon as I request it?
Not until you get my WhatsApp saying so — it's one van and one driver. Book ahead where you can, especially for early flights.
The van
2019 Citroën Dispatch — fits 15+ large suitcases, or a studio/one-bed's boxes in one load.
Insured
Goods in transit insured up to £25,000 · Public liability £5,000,000 · Hire & reward courier cover · Fully comprehensive vehicle insurance.
The driver
One van, one driver — that's me, James. No subcontractors.
No VAT
No VAT — the price you see is the price you pay.
Fly with your hands free.
Postcode, airport and number of bags — that's all I need to confirm a collection by WhatsApp.
