Luggage and goods only — nobody travels in the van. You make your own way; your things are there when you arrive.
Southampton cruise luggage

Your luggage travels. You travel light.

Door-to-terminal luggage runs for Southampton cruises, from £12 a case. I collect your cases from your door, hand them to the porters at your terminal, and message you a photo. You arrive with nothing to drag.

Instant price

One number, no surprises.

Postcode in, price out. What you see is what you pay — I confirm every request by WhatsApp before anything is booked.

How it works

Request, confirm, delivered.

1

Request a time

Use the price tool or WhatsApp. Tell me the postcode, where it's going, the date and a time window.

2

I confirm by WhatsApp

One van, one driver, so I check the diary and come back to you — usually within the hour during the day. Nothing is booked until you get that message.

3

Collected, photographed, delivered

I photograph your bags at collection and again at drop-off, then message you when they're down. Bank payment or cash on completion.

The van

2019 Citroën Dispatch — fits 15+ large suitcases, or a studio/one-bed's boxes in one load.

Insured

Goods in transit insured up to £25,000 · Public liability £5,000,000 · Hire & reward courier cover · Fully comprehensive vehicle insurance.

The driver

One van, one driver — that's me, James. No subcontractors.

No VAT

No VAT — the price you see is the price you pay.

Straight answers

Before you ask.

Can I come in the van with my bags?

No — Kerb2Kerb carries luggage and goods only, never people. You travel however suits you (train, car, taxi) and your bags are waiting for you. That's what keeps it cheap and properly insured.

Is my time confirmed when I send a request?

Not until you get my WhatsApp saying so. It's one van and one driver, so I check the diary first. Book ahead where you can — cruise mornings and move-in weekend fill in the order requests come in.

Is my luggage insured while it's with you?

Yes — goods in transit cover up to £25,000 and £5 million public liability, with Somerset Bridge Insurance and Novus Insurance. I photograph everything at collection and delivery so there's never an argument about condition.

Is VAT added on top?

No. I'm a sole trader under the VAT threshold, so the price you see is the price you pay. Bank payment or cash on completion — no deposit.
